Elma’s Houses are in the most beautiful and quiet corner of the beautiful Alonissos old village. We stayed a week in the BALCONY STUDIO: very tasteful furniture and priceless large balcony with an incredible view. And moreover … Elma ha studiato a Firenze e parla un ottimo italiano.

If there were more than 5 stars i would give to them. Everything in this location is amazing. The houses are traditional, very beautiful and clean. They are in the best corner of the old village, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. They have also a small, beautiful garden where you can take your breakfast and read your book while you are enjoying the silence. The best place for take a break from the city and really enjoy yourself. The hosts are really great and they made sure that everything is perfect and we had what we needed. They welcomed us with homemade jams and fresh fruits that we really appreciated. Thank you very much for everything! I enjoyed my stay so much and for sure I will come back.

“We spent six weeks as guests at Elma’s Houses and had a wonderful time on the island of Alonissos. Elma’s Houses are renovated with a sense of tradition while being modern and comfortable. It is easy to move everywhere on the island and in a few days you have a good overview of Chora (the village) and its inhabitants. If you are looking for peace and quiet, beauty and amazing views, we can highly recommend Elma’s Houses. From Elma’s Houses it is easy to get to the quiet beach of Mikros Mortias and overall the location is good for recovery for stressed metropolitan residents. Highly recommended!”

Two traditional village houses for up to four, overlooking a flower-filled courtyard, have been charmingly restored by architect-owner Elma, with full kitchen, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. Interiors are all rugged whitewashed walls, wood-beamed ceilings and twisting staircases, while the two kitchen-equipped studios have a balcony or terrace. It’s at the south/upper end of town.
